Annual Report of the WM, for Masonic Year 2008

To the Brethren of Oriental Lodge No. 33:

This will serve as my report for Masonic Year 2008. 

This year has been a challenging yet productive year for Oriental Lodge No. 33. Masonic Work and membership.

 We began the year with unfinished work docket of 21, and it was growing. Some of those members had been on the unfinished work roster for almost 10 years, and the Grand Lodge directed us to take care of this docket immediately. It became quickly apparent that any plans I’d made for my year would have to take a back seat to closing out our docket of unfinished work. We created a plan to give each person an opportunity to take their degrees this year. We attempted to contact each person on the docket and offer them the opportunity to finish their degrees. Some took us up on it, and some did not, but everyone was given the opportunity to finish their work and receive degrees if they wanted them.
