Installation of Officers

Oriental Lodge No. 33 presented the Installation of Elected and Appointed
Officers in a Public Ceremony on Sunday November 20th 2011.

The Black-Tie event was well attended and took place at the
Jefferson Park Masonic Temple followed by dinner at
Lucia's Restaurant.

Toys for Tot's Night at Oriental

Reminder that our December Stated meeting will be our Toys for Tot's Night!  Everyone will be required to bring some unwrapped, new toys in the original boxes for admission!  Please pass the word!

Past Masters Night - April stated meeting

Oriental Lodge hosted our annual "Past Masters'" night at our April stated meeting. We had an extremely eventful evening with a large portion of our past masters in attendance. All Past Masters spent time remenicing about their time in office at Oriental including how we could continue to improve our fraternity for future generations.

 

Thanks to everyone who came out to share in a successful evening!

May Special Meeting

ANNOUNCEMENT:

In place of our Special Meeting in May we will be attending the Chicago premier The Dream Play, written and directed by Past Master Michael Toth.

There is a cocktail reception open to ticket holders only at 6:00 PM, with a discounted cash bar. The film starts promptly at 7:30 PM and runs 1 hour & 36 min. There will be a Q&A after with PM Toth. We will leave the theater approximately at 9:30 PM to head to Duke Of Perth.  Several Oriental Lodge members are extras in the film.  We are going to skip the  Forno Diablo official festival after party and have our own Lodge party at the Duke Of Perth, located 1 block away.  They have a huge Single Malt selection and the kitchen is open till 11:00 PM and the bar closes at 2:00 AM. We would recommend parking in the movie theater Century Mall in-door lot & leaving the car there till we are done at Duke of Perth.  Also, we would like to remind people that Past Master Toth has also made a great movie on Masonry, we have copies for sale at lodge.

Also, this will, at some point, we assume sell out, so we encourage our members to buy now. We are unsure if you can buy tickets at the door, so on-line is the way to go!
